1. Overview
Akili Sawa provides digital and community-based mental wellness services through mobile, web, WhatsApp, SMS platforms, in-person programs, and licensed professionals. These services are designed for personal, corporate, and community use.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent to use Akili Sawa Services. Access to certain services (e.g., clinical consultations) may require identity verification and age confirmation.
3. Services Offered
- Digital therapy (App, chat, SMS, video)
- Mental health coaching and group sessions
- Safe house referrals and crisis support
- Access to psychologists, psychiatrists, and therapists

- Workshops, retreats, and wellness campaigns
4. Privacy and Confidentiality

5. User Responsibilities

- Prices are listed in Kenyan Shillings (KES) and may vary by service
- Payments are processed via M-PESA, card, or bank transfer
- Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis (e.g., cancellations within 24 hours for paid sessions)
7. Limitations of Liability
Akili Sawa is not liable for:
- Outcomes outside our control (e.g., non-adherence to advice)
- Delays due to technical failures or third-party providers
- Misuse or misrepresentation of services by users
Our platform is not a substitute for emergency medical care. For psychiatric emergencies, call 911 or go to the nearest health facility.
8. Intellectual Property
All logos, service designs, programs, written content, and branded tools remain the intellectual property of Akili Sawa Ltd and cannot be reproduced or repurposed without permission.
9. Modification of Terms
Akili Sawa reserves the right to revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services following updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Termination
Akili Sawa reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to services due to breach of terms, non-payment, or misuse.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Kenya.
